Dear

How is life? I meant to write to you earlier but have been so busy looking after my brood with no nanny and steward!! I have almost finished shopping. We are arriving on the 18th Sept by lunch time. My husband has gone back. This summer he was coming going all the time! Next year I will not allow holidays with business!

SF has been awesome! We have gotten to go all over the city except for golden gate park. La Toque was fabulous and going to Fort Ross was fun. Highway 1 was a bit scary though. I quite liked it here and would like to visit again!

Naniboujou is a very colorful place full of readers and puzzle solvers. No internet and only a bit of cell reception down by the lake, so it’s not for everyone. But it is lovely, peaceful and very quiet!

The Great Hall at Naniboujou Lodge and Restaurant is decorated in designs of the Cree Indians, bright and colorful as when it was first painted by desingeer Antoine Goufee in the late 1920’s.

I want to thank you for the nic letter. My match collection is still growing and so I thought you would like this card to help your collection grow. I’m afraid my little car is sick and I won’t have it much longer because it will take too much money to fix it – but it’s very old and thing like this happen. Love to hear from you again.

New Jersey Shore

July, 1987

Went to the boardwalk today behind the beach and the kis went on rides. Had lunch overlooking the sea, listening to seagulls, and watching airplanes pull ads thru the sky. Temps only in the 80’s – have been in the 90’s and very hot.

Villa Ridge, Missouri

Dear

Staid in St Louis last night – that is, getting to the hotel at 1:30 am. But we feel rested. Started to Oklahoma City at seven 30 but stopped here for a bite to eat. It is a wonderful place! The weather is grand and we are OK. This place is on the edge of Ozarks and so pretty – Looks a lot like around Lodi. Only divided highway mostly. Next transfer will be Okla City. Hope you both are rested from yesterday.
