Harpers Ferry June 1995

Everyone is here as expected (except Lynn) and missing you! It was an old hotel but with gorgeous view over the 2 river gorges – cloudy so not too hot. People have gone rafting, hiking and on bus tours. We had a nice trip out – I read the Nero Wolfe book – everyone arrived on time more or less. Floyd and Joyce, Margaret and Rudy and we are coffeeing and reminiscing. Wish you both were here.

These postcards are vintage. Not sure what year.

“Belongs to the Canadian Pacific Railway. The wing overlooking the river was built in 1893. The north wing and central tower were built in 1924-25. Perfect imitation of old French Renaissance Chateau.”
