Bruges has been a nice break and recovery from Bujumbura. Very pretty and decorated for Christmas. Definitely worth the visit and like the movie. Climbed up the tower today. It keeps going and going.

This is a beautiful Flemish city as you can see. We had a good time sightseeing (at last it is sunshiny), eating, etc. We stopped in Waterloo yesterday to see and learn about Napoleon’s great defeat. Gruesome, but interesting. Mary (your old nanny) wants to visit you and Tim and Tom – is driving with Elizabeth and her husband in July. She may call you – I’ve sent her letter to Tom. So you are alerted. Remember she’s the one who gave you the chocolate pudding!
