In 1973, I rode a donkey up that zig zag road. It was not my best moment. But the view from the top was spectacular.

I am now sitting in the Stanley Hotel in Athens, Greece. We arrived on a sunny afternoon but now that sunny afternoon has evolved into clouds and prospects of rain. Tomorrow it’s a full day city tour. Sunday is Greek Independence Day – possible riots. We are sitting here enjoying the fact that we opted to not go to Russia. The Acropolis is really impressive in real life!
