Hi

Would you consider this for your wedding? Or maybe your maid of honor could wear it! We are “R and R”ing in the big city this weekend. Our guesthouse is very nice, but we need a change of scenery and food, now and then. One of the team leaves for Texas this aft. so we road up with him. I have finished the petit point – how what to do with it?? Jakarta is HOT and HUMID compared to Bogor. But will enjoy anyway.

Thanks for the mail and the clippings about Brugges. We are having rain, rain, rain – about 40 degrees most of the time… We are having people over for coffee and wine this eve. A friend and I plowed around Centrum and Babylon yesterday looking for bargains or whatever. A good way to spend a rainy day. I sent you a sweater – hope you like it and can wear it. I’m have 16 ladies for lunch on Wed.

Having a wonderful time, wish you were here, etc. It is lovely here. We had coffee in the sun on the balcony this am. Now we’re heading for S.F. to take the boat to Alcatraz. Tell everyone “Hi”. I can’t wait to hear the latest when I get back.

My flight was OK. Full plane to Tokyo and two hour delay out of Tokyo but no problems. It is cool and raining here. My hotel is lovely. Haven’t seen much of the city yet but from my hotel room there are a lot of green trees and it looks nice.

Did I send you this recipe last year? Oh well, their selection is limited and we are not in the city. Many meetings with many presentations but did go for a walk this afternoon – sunny mid 80’s. Tonight his Texas barbeque – ole! Now I am resting on my porch overlooking the pond.
