Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion
The Reception Hall of the Pabst Mansion was meant to impress guests of the Pabst family. Warm oak woodwork, a magnificent wrought iron chandelier and beautiful paintings compose a welcoming atmosphere. The period marble bust of Captain Pabst presides over the hall.

Hi- We had a delicious rib roast for supper – a fantastic lunch at Timbers with lovely music as part of the Festival. We’ve all fallen madly in love with the bass singer!

We are having a nice time but missing you! Weather not bad – hope your weekend has been good.

Love and kisses, Va (+B)

Lake Superior

We are settling in on the deck of the Seagull Inn looking at the sailboats on Lake Superior with Madeline Island in the background. We will try to find the local winery in a bit for some tasting!
