Dear B and V,
A beautiful day in LA and perfect day to visit the Getty: 70 degrees and brilliant sunshine. Took a few pictures and will enjoy watching the rush hour from the restaurant tonight! It’s already bad! Got to see part of Catalina but not exactly where Allie works. Oh well, will have to return.

Hi – Got to Madison comfortably – Nancy had breakfast with me yesterday – Hewitts had lunch with me and are coming here to the Timbers for lunch on Tuesday. (My treat). Talked to Bill this AM – he is off tomorrow for 2 weeks – is negotiating for the new offices down the street. Has hired Ester to replace A. Groat until end of year. Are you enjoying my refridge handouts?

Good to visit with you last night. Forgot to ask if you remembered to pick up the framed needlepoints in Miracle Mile? This is one of Van Gogh’s nice ones – I’m trying to find a print I can hang on the laundry door in my kitchen! Or another as nice. We got a mirror (and dresser) for the guest room – all ready for Jean and Tom. Raining and much cooler today.
Love to you, Va
