Really looking forward to our trip. I have a good friend in Cost Mesa, just south of LA. Well, LA is not Acapulco but at least it’s not Mountainview so… Let’s go!

I see Mitzy everyday and I think she is lonely without you. So is Toots but both are healthy.
We are moving to our new offices tomorrow so everything is torn up.
How was your trip? Did Steve and Jane like their presents?
Have fun, Love, Bill

Hope the new year brings you health and happiness and brings the Twins a divisional victory (so the Brewers can beat them in the playoffs!)

Jerome Bosch, The Garden of Delights (Detail 1), Del Prado Museum, Madrid
For some reason this postcard uses the name Jerome (it is printed in France). His more common name is Hieronymus Bosch but he was born Jheronimus van Aken  c. 1450 and died 9 August 1516. Here is the painting The Garden of Earthly Delights. He was Dutch.

It has been (is) rainy and cold here in Madrid but we are enjoying it. Today we visited the Del Prado museum and saw this among many other famous paintings. We will go to Toledo (about 40 miles away) tomorrow or Tuesday.
Take care, Love Bill

We are in Angers now and we just got through seeing these tapestries. It’s rainy, we, and very cold. The tapestries are in a great big chateau. I’m really getting tired of rolls and tea for breakfast every morning. I can’t wait to get to England. Write a letter, I’ll answer it the 21st of July.

How’s the new address? How many skinny dip parties? Oh my! It has been wild – my folks were here carousing for a week, then we went to Florida to recoup for a week. Got some good sun tho the Floridians thought it cold. We pot lucked here for Easter and are just now gettin caught up with school and unpacked. Enjoying the calm…
And you wild one? Write me one of those letters! Are you going to England for Rhonda’s wedding?

We are in Paris and Jean is going to kick Stephen’s buns… That has been going on since we got back. They are getting really nasty. Are you coming back? I saw Belinda in Kennedy airport but I didn’t say anything to her. I met some people from Greenhill school. They are nice but a bit typical. You know, football players and cheerleaders. Write and I’ll answer your letters when we get home.

It is hot and humid. Not for me. Bill took me to see the Vietnam Memorial (by taxi) this AM – so impressive! The photos don’t do it justice. Had lemonade below the Pee waterfall, saw the Mondrian old favorites from Den Haag. Now back in hotel and cool.
