Bill went to Frankfurt this am for a meeting with Alex for a few hours. Will return tomorrow. We are having winter (50 degrees F). Five of us “trained ” to Leist (east of Utrecht) to the Stoops for dinner last Wed. in honor of Alicia’s leaving. We had such a good time – Rene Devored was along. A real Dutch eve. Tim seems to be having a nice holiday with Astra in S. Dak! Jean said she had a nice letter from you. She hasn’t been very well recently, but is working.
Hope you are okay. Love, Va

We saw the movie “The Gods Must be Crazy” as part of our mythology course! Great! All the courses are very worthwhile and taught beautifully. We are learning a lot – esp. about the Pueblo Indians (taught by a charming and beautiful Pueblo woman). The jewelry and boots, western type clothes around here are dear to my heart! But the wind blows all the time and it is still very chilly except at midday. We’re off to Las Cruces tomorrow for the weekend – then homeward.

Isn’t this a pretty card? Sort of like Grant Wood. We can’t relate to the snow yet but guess you can. I’ll come to Minnesota end of March while Bill goes to Aust. and then he’ll join me for a week before returning for Board meeting. We’re having beautiful weather so far. Spring can’t be too far away! Hope all is ok.
