Fort Ross

Dear

We visited the Russian fort in California yesterday. It has a beautiful view of the sea, and lots of cannons. There were a lot of rifles in this building too.

We came to Hemet last Wed. and will be here until the 15th. Weather is cool and it has rained each day but today. Gene is taking sail plane instructions whenever weather permits. Had a good visit with Browns and have seen Helgesons. Most likely will be home last of March.

Dear Noah

I hope the first few days of camp have gone well. Lots of horseback riding and everything. I am in Hollywood CA! Getting ready to watch the World Cup Finals. My mom and I were at the Hollywood Bowl last Thursday – it was great – and we had really good seats. It was great to see you over the 4th. Have a great time at camp!

Hi

SF has been awesome! We have gotten to go all over the city except for golden gate park. La Toque was fabulous and going to Fort Ross was fun. Highway 1 was a bit scary though. I quite liked it here and would like to visit again!

Salinas California

Dear

Just visited friends in the Redwoods! Now we are vising my brother and wife before going back up to Bodega Bay for my 80th birthday party with my twin brother!

Lowell is ecstatic to be ‘out of prison’ after 6 months of NO TRAVEL while fighting the stubborn virus. We hope to see more friends tomorrow.

Any chance of your stopping over with us on one of your north-south trips? We’ll be home mostly this spring.

Hi

Having a wonderful time, wish you were here, etc. It is lovely here. We had coffee in the sun on the balcony this am. Now we’re heading for S.F. to take the boat to Alcatraz. Tell everyone “Hi”. I can’t wait to hear the latest when I get back.
