Dear Mother,

This is a nice picture of our downtown in summer. this really is a lovely city, on the whole, and St Paul is too.

I have been fighting a cold so am taking it easy today. We’re watching the Vikings football game, of course. Kathy came over for lunch. We had a nice evening last night at Tim’s and delicious dinner as always there.
