Back from AR and meeting our daughter Sandy. While there between and in showers I was instructed to solo a sail plane. Really an exciting thing to do. It is so quiet up there even in drop turns, lazy 8’s etc. I loved it!

I’m a private pilot and have flown gliders a couple of times on Oahu. I haven’t soloed but flying a glider is a fantastic experience.

I have heard the same from many people who love the experience. I’m sure it is amazing. For me, I think it sounds a bit scary.
