February 2000 – Chicago
First day was great – even took a class in drawing! 38 of us – stool provided for lectures (thank goodness) but time flew by today. The Athletic Club is a bit old but comfy – has a great bar. We had lunch yesterday at Russian Tea room with Gerard and a nice chat. He took us to his office in a big Travel agency across from the Institute. The ride down was delightful – relaxing and beautiful. My cold left as mysteriously as it began.
